Duchell at the KLM Open: A Morning with the Greenkeeping Crew

Last week, we had the honor of getting a behind-the-scenes look at the KLM Open. Before the sun even rose, we joined the greenkeeping team. Under the guidance of Dylan Kuik, we saw our sponsored Hio Xact hole cutter in action. It was beautiful to see the first rays of sunlight shining over the golf course, promising an amazing day ahead.

It was impressive to witness how hard and precisely the greenkeeping team works. These professionals ensure that the golf course is in perfect condition. The process of hole cutting is an art in itself; each hole must be cut perfectly to meet strict standards, and the new Hio Xact is perfectly suited for this!

As part of our round with the greenkeepers, we also visited the driving range. To our delight, we saw our "Automatic Fulltimer" in action, our robotic ball picker. It was amazing to see how efficiently and easily the balls are collected and deposited at the temporary unloading spot, a "ramp" (a raised area on the grass instead of a hole in the ground), allowing players to continue practicing undisturbed.

Our morning with the greenkeeping team was an unforgettable experience, and we look back on a fantastic tournament. We are proud to have contributed to this wonderful event in our own way!
